The Pixies have had a career unlike any other in alternative rock. Doolittle is their knotty masterpiece, the embodiment of the Pixies' abrasive, exuberant, enigmatic pop. Informed by interviews with the band, this book looks at the making of the album and its place in rock history, and studies its influence in light of the Pixies reunion.
The OCR errors on a very few of the initial pages border on the unintelligible; but, that's not uncommon for commentary and publication or copyright pages with mixed fonts. Example: "Ideal tot tie lock geek who thi i s lint notes just aren't enough-Rolling Stone".
The main text appears to be error free.
The series has 166 titles in print with more titles to be issued. This is No. 31" Yay for a good 33 1/3 book. This series has its moments that keep me coming back to read them, but not enough that I want to buy them."
